Mareco Broadcasting Network DWBM-FM 105.1 Crossover

The Mareco Broadcasting Network, Inc. made its a debut in the radio industry in July 14. 1963 its first AM station DZBM 740 kHz, originally served only as a promotional venue for Mareco's own Mabuhay and Villar Records. It also held the local license to produce and market foreign music labels from a peak of over a hundred major international recording companies. During this time, DZBM played the latest and widest variety of popular music and was consistently no. 1 in the surveys, contributing significantly in popularizing radio as a prime entertainment medium in Manila

With its increasing listenership, Mareco Broadcasting Network eventually opened DZBM to commercial advertising. For enhamced quality, the statio moved from AM to the FM band band and becamee known as DWLM-FM at 105.1 MHz in the May 6, 1972 as So-FM with Music station in June 12, 1975 as Super Tulong Pinoy 105.1 with an all-OPM format a year after New Wave station with the very same call sign back to DZBM-FM 105.1 as Power FM BM 105 with a New Wave format and changed its callsign to DWBM-FM in the July 1, 1991, the Network underwent several changes in management. as well programming, with the end resylt 105.1 Crossover in June 1, 1994 with smooth jazz format
